Disaster and fire drill were held at Honyo Campus

On October 24, 2025, a disaster and fire drill was held at the Hojyo campus of Kumamoto University. The drills was conducted under the assumption of an earthquake and a sudden fire, with the aim of raising disaster awareness among students, faculty, and staff and establishing a fire and disaster prevention system. Ms. Feng Yixuan from Mizuno lab and Mr. Huang Jingshuo from Takizawa lab demonstrated how to use a fire extinguisher. Mr. Kumar Gaurav from Sheng lab and Mr. Purohit Abhinav from Takahashi lab demonstrated a lifesaving treatment using AED.
