【Event report】The 7th KU-KAIST Joint Symposium

The 7th KU-KAIST Joint Symposium was held on January 22-23, 2025 at Kusunoki Terrace in Kumamoto University Hospital.

The symposium started with opening remarks by Dr. Hitoshi Takizawa, Director of IRCMS. It was organized into six sessions, featuring insightful presentations by seven researchers from KAIST, three researchers from ASHBi, Kyoto University and six researchers from Kumamoto University. Dr. Goro Sashida, Dr. Yuta Takahashi, Dr. Liu Norika from IRCMS participated in the symposium and delivered presentations. Each speaker presented cutting-edge research projects. Participants actively discussed their ongoing projects and future research collaborations throughout the symposium. A lab tour showcasing IRCMS research facilities was also organized. Dr. Su-Hyung Park, KAIST gave closing remarks and the symposium concluded successfully.
