Vice Rector Dmitry Tayursky from Kazan Federal University (Russia) and Professor Oleg Gusev from Juntendo University paid a courtesy visit to Kumamoto University

On March 1, 2024, Vice Rector Dmitry Tayursky from Kazan Federal University (Russia) and Professor Oleg Gusev from (jointly affiliated with Kazan Federal University and Juntendo University as a faculty member, and also affiliated with IRCMS as a visiting Associate Professor) paid a courtesy visit to Kumamoto University and IRCMS, strengthening the exchange between the institutions as part of their partnership. Since the signing of the exchange agreement in 2021, Kazan Federal University and our university have maintained ongoing exchanges among faculty and students. During the meeting, Vice President Kishida and the visitors exchanged views on potential new avenues for collaboration. Vice Director Arima and Professor Sheng from IRCMS also joined the discussions, engaging in a dialogue focused on academic exchanges in the field of life sciences. The courtesy visit concluded in a friendly atmosphere.
