【Event Report】The 5th KU-KAIST Joint Symposium

The 5th KU-KAIST Joint Symposium was held between the 20th & 21st of October 2022 at Kumamoto University's IRCMS. The first collaborative symposium between our two institutions was held on the 22nd of October 2018 at KAIST in Deajeon, Korea.

Followed by opening remarks by Dr. Toshio Suda, 10 researchers from KU and 5 researchers from KAIST gave talks in their state-of-the-art researches in the six sessions of "Hepatic Metabolism and Fibrosis", "Keynote", "Micro-Nano environment & Genetic Engineering" and "Nano-technologies & Disease", "KU-KAIST joint research result" and "Nano-technologies & Disease". Students and researchers alike enjoyed the presentations and discussions, with more than 97 participants exchanging ideas and opinions on each research theme.  Prof. Injune Kim, Accosiate Professor, KAIST gave a closing remarks and the symposium closed successfully.
