Title : Dissecting the immune landscape of cancer for therapeutic intervention

Abstract:

The integration of the genetic architecture of cancer and the tumor microenvironment as fundamental parts of the tumorigenic process has undoubtedly revolutionized our understanding of cancer biology. The immunogenomic features of cancer are quietly heterogeneous between each tumor types and even within the same tumor type. These properties possess therapeutic implications for conventional cytotoxic chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. In this lecture, the immunologic characteristics of cancer will be highlighted as the paramount factor to determine response and resistance for currently available therapeutic options including checkpoint blockade. Specifically, in detail analysis for colorectal cancer, non-small-cell lung cancer, head and neck cancer, and gastric cancer will be exemplified to dissect immune landscape of cancer for therapeutic intervention.

This seminar will be held via Zoom.
