Awarded: Dr. Sada wins the Young Scientists' Award by MEXT

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) will honor Aiko Sada, PhD with the Young Scientists' Award for her research achievements.

Dr. Sada has been a PI of International Research Center for Medical Sciences (IRCMS) of Kumamoto University since 2019. She is currently studying the cellular and molecular mechanisms of skin regeneration and aging.

The Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has honored scientists with the Commendation for Science and Technology for the purpose of enhancing motivations of scientists and contributing to raise levels of science and technology in Japan. The Young Scientists' Award is one of the Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and there are other three awards: Awards for Science and Technology, Award for Creativity and Outstanding Support for Research Award.

Dr. Sada will be honored the Award at the awarding ceremony on April 14th, 2021.
