The newly established International Research Center for Medical Sciences (IRCMS) at Kumamoto University in Japan (http://ircms.kumamoto-u.ac.jp/ ) is directed to Single Cell Experiments in the field of Immuno-Hematology. Thus, we are seeking qualified applicants for research positions at the rank of Research Professor, Research Associate Professor or Assistant Professor. The positions are available beginning Dec 1, 2015, or as soon as possible thereafter. Appointments at this rank are for 5-year terms (Professor and Associate Professor), or 3-year terms (Assistant Professor) renewable upon review and approval (maximum of 10 years).
Qualifications
Applicants are required to have at least a Ph.D. or M.D. in biomedical sciences. Successful applicants will be expected to develop the single cell-based analysis to study medical biology. Candidates should have extensive experience and research programs at single cell biology by integrating advanced, state-of-the-art technologies of mass cytometry. Candidates should also speak in English at a native speaker level of fluency. Top applicants may be invited for a seminar/interview as a component of the selection process.
