Dr. Toda received his Ph.D from Tokyo University, Japan. During his Ph.D period, he spent his time as Postdoc at Tokyo University. After five years as a researcher at The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, he moved to DZNE (Deutsches Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen), he is conducting research on the development of nuclear structure and its involvement in aging as a Group Leader. He is currently a professor at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
