The hybrid-style symposium, jointly organized by IRCMS Kumamoto University and The Institute of Medical Science, The University of Tokyo (IMSUT), was held as part of the JSPS Core-to-Core Program "Integrative approach for normal and leukemic stem cells" on February 13th, 2024, at the IMSUT Auditorium. Under the theme of Pathogenesis and therapeutic targeting of hematological malignancies, four researchers from IRCMS and three speakers from respected research institutes in and out of Japan had introduced their researches.
Researchers participated onsite and online, engaging in lively discussions with the presenters. The symposium has paved the way for anticipated future research collaborations to be initiated.
